A winning awards night
We are thrilled to announce that our client the Federation of Master Builders won the Best use of Technology award thanks to the digital tool “Find a Builder” and fully integrated website that we delivered with them.
We felt this was a great example of tackling a complex overhaul of 5 legacy systems and of a digital transformation that directly targets and impacts the strategic goals of the whole organisation. Really strong stats. Great project
Representing 7.5k small and medium sized construction companies the FMB has been championing continuous improvement in the construction industry for 80 years.
Pixl8 worked with the FMB to replace several outdated systems with a single integrated system built on Preside. Their new website included integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and new online tools to replace paper-based processes.
These included a new “Find a Builder” search tool, which customers can use to source local trusted suppliers. A new login area allows trade members to update their online profile, add case studies and request testimonials. They can also use it to request new trades to be added to their profile online.
The results have been rapid and rewarding. There have been 30% more visitors to the join page and the FMB website has a 60% faster site speed. Conversion rates for membership applications have doubled. Read the full case study here.
My team loves the new site. They find it so much easier to manage member accounts. We’re seeing fewer ‘admin-related’ phone enquiries - freeing up time to develop our services.

The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) has been nominated for Best Website.
I think the webpage is much improved and I really like the design overall. It is very easy to find info now.
User numbers for the IOM3 website increased by 73.3% compared to the same period in the previous year. Page views on the business critical join page are up 57.6%. Read the full case study here.
