2024: A Year of Growth and Success

As we reflect on 2024, it’s clear that this has been a year of transformation and growth—not just for us, but for the membership organisations we partner with. Together we’ve turned challenges into opportunities and leveraged technology to make a difference for members. Join us as we look back on a year defined by collaboration, innovation and success.

New platform launches

With 20+ organisations launching new platforms in 2024, and many more rolling out continuous improvement projects, it has been a difficult task to pick just a few highlights! Here is a selection of clients who have seen success this year:

PACT (Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television)

Pact’s mission is to help make the UK’s independent production sector the most successful in the world.

Their members range from small companies just starting out through to well-established international 'super indies'.

PACT's MX platform integration with Bluelight CRM (Dynamics) has made a big impact since launch in September 2024.

NUJ Journalists' Safety Tracker

The NUJ's Journalists' Safety Tracker enables both freelance and staff journalists to share experiences confidentially.

The online reporting tool asks a series of questions including threats received on social media platforms, impersonation via malicious emails and the use of spyware. Journalists can also report physical violence and inform on Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation.

In their launch announcement, Michelle Stanistreet, NUJ general secretary, said: “The launch of the Journalists' Safety Tracker is a landmark moment... The NUJ wants journalists to engage with the tracker, and to help us build up a clear picture of the scale of the intimidation, threats and violence they are facing simply for doing their jobs."

European Association for International Education

The EAIE managed its annual conference in Toulouse, France this September through their ReadyMembership platform launched earlier this year. With 7000 delegates from across Europe (their largest ever attendance) complex rules-based ticketing was required for bookings to run smoothly. Read how the EAIE saved time and streamlined processes in this case study.

Other highlights this year include Heritage Open Days, which ran its UK-wide 2024 festival on its new ReadyMembership platform. With 2,354 event organisers and 5,427 events, plus thousands of new website visitor accounts created, the festival reached a bigger audience than ever before.

We also worked closely with Chambers of Commerce, integrating SGS eCert for seamless international trade documentation requests—a game-changer for the Sussex Chambers of Commerce and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce

Finally, the Chartered Institute Of Building launched a new member portal that has enabled them to collect members’ preferences and personalise their experiences for the first time.

Celebrating as one global team

This year our global team came together in Bangkok for Pixl8's first-ever full-team gathering—a vibrant celebration of collaboration and innovation. Originally planned to mark our 20th anniversary in 2021, the weekend brought together colleagues from across the globe for an unforgettable experience.

It was a gathering packed with engaging presentations, Apprentice-style team-building challenges, and invaluable opportunities for colleagues to meet in person and get to know each other. A few of us - Brayden, Jack, Jess, Jon, Steve & Tracy - were even brave enough to take on Police Run Bangkok with a start time of 4am!

We wrapped up with a beautiful nighttime river cruise, taking in Bangkok’s skyline as a fitting end to a memorable few days. This gathering reinforced our shared commitment to working as a united team, delivering innovative solutions across the globe.

Welcoming four-legged visitors

It's not just human team members who like to get together. Colleagues often bring their dogs into work to say hello!

Chewie, who belongs to Jack, our IT manager has enjoyed several office visits this year getting to know the team! He’s also partial to dressing up for the occasion!

Looking to the future

With 21 new starters in 2024 and well-earned promotions across our customer success, developer and project management teams, it has truly been a year of mutual growth for Pixl8 and the membership organisations we partner with.

"2024 has been a year of growth, innovation, and collaboration. At Pixl8, we are constantly evolving to build solutions that enhance both internal and external experiences for our clients and their members. None of this would be possible without the incredible dedication of our team, the support of our partners, and the trust of our clients. Thank you for being part of this journey—I’m excited for what we’ll achieve together in 2025."
