When the Institute of Business Ethics came looking for a membership focused website platform, we had the perfect solution.

The Institute of Business Ethics (IBE) was established in 1986 to promote high standards of business behaviour based on ethical values. The IBE is an important partner to any business wanting to preserve its long-term reputation by doing business in the right way. 

Since its inception, the IBE has advised organisations on how to strengthen their ethical culture by sharing knowledge and good practice. This has resulted in relationships with employees and stakeholders that are based on trust. 

The IBE had greatly outgrown its old website and required a platform to better serve its ever growing and diverse membership. 

What the IBE wanted

IBE had a very basic website with a limited CRM function that was no longer suitable for their business needs. The organisation wanted to be able to offer a comprehensive self-service membership experience that satisfied both businesses and individuals alike. 

This included ambitious goals to grow membership through improving key membership services, including hosting events, targeted emailing, a fully working and flexible online shop, an easily navigable knowledge hub and finally, the ability to tailor web content and user journeys.

Content Targeting

The new website offers extensive opportunities for innovative personalisation and content management. Users now have the ability to pay for memberships online while also being able to edit their personal information and preferences and sign up to email newsletters. With fully trackable user data across their website, the IBE team has a clearer understanding of their members’ needs.



Everything in its right place 

Being an advisory organisation, IBE wanted an extensive knowledge hub where they could split out their resources and key topics. Through Pixl8’s ReadyMembership navigation system and content tagging, IBE’s members can now easily search for the content or publication they are after and share it with fellow IBE members. 


The perfect event management platform

IBE holds a number of events throughout the year - both virtually and face-to-face. Through ReadyMembership, IBE are able to manage their events through Pixl8’s Eventfolio tool. Designed specifically for membership and association organisations, Eventfolio has given IBE the ability to host webinars through their website while also managing bookings for events.

Previously, IBE’s online shop was very limited in its capacity and its offering. Using Pixl8s online shop tool, IBE can sell resources and publications to its members, while users can book to attend events and gain access to webinars and training. Through tagging, IBE can now offer and send users who have bought particular publications relevant content, news and invites to future webinars and events.
