Most membership organisations already hold a huge amount of information about how their members behave: who logs in, which events they book, what they download and which emails they open. The difficulty is that it tends to sit in separate places and rarely gets turned into anything the team can act on. Engagement scoring brings that activity together into a single score for each member and organisation. That gives you a much clearer picture of who is getting value from their membership, who is drifting away, and where to focus your effort.
In this session, Tracy will showcase the Engagement Scoring module in ReadyMembership. She’ll show how organisations are using it to raise awareness of member benefits and services, and to encourage uptake of events, subscriptions and products.
What Tracy will cover
- What engagement scoring is: how it turns individual member activity into a measurable signal of participation, and why behavioural data is most useful alongside what members tell you in surveys
- Choosing what to track: the activities you can score, such as event attendance, logins, resource downloads and group participation, and how to make sure they reflect your organisation’s objectives
- Weighting and levels: giving different activities different values, setting the engagement levels members move between, and adding rules and conditions to your scoring
- Individual and organisation scores: how scores build up for both contacts and member organisations, and where they show on records and dashboards
- Putting scores to work: using them with segmentation, conditional content and email sequences to personalise what members see and to step in early when engagement drops
Who should attend
You’ll find it useful if you want to understand your members better or run more targeted campaigns. You don’t need to have the engagement scoring module already: the session is a good way to see what it does before deciding whether it’s right for you.
Questions and next steps
Tracy will demo for about 45 minutes, then take questions for 15. If you’d like to talk about how engagement scoring could work for your organisation, she’ll be around after the session and can book in a follow-up conversation.
