If you’ve been wondering what an AI assistant could do for your members and staff but haven’t known where to start, this hands-on workshop is a good place to begin. Over one morning in our Waterloo office, you’ll build a working assistant using your own organisation’s content, with our team alongside you at every step. You don’t need a developer or any technical knowledge, just a laptop and a few documents you’d like your assistant to learn from.

What you’ll do

You’ll send us some content ahead of the day so it’s ready to go. On the morning, you’ll:

  1. Choose your language model: pick the AI model that will power your assistant
  2. Give it a personality: set its tone of voice and the suggested prompts your users will see
  3. Connect your knowledge sources: we’ll ingest your content in advance, then show you exactly how it’s done
  4. Put it to the test: preview your assistant and ask it real questions against your own content

You’ll leave with a working assistant built on your own material, and a clear sense of how it could support your members and team.

Who it’s for

This workshop is for communications, digital, membership and operations teams who want to understand how an AI assistant works and what it could do for their organisation, without writing any code.

What to bring

A fully charged laptop (tablets and phones won’t work for this one), plus some content to send us beforehand. We’ll be in touch after you register to explain what to send.

Good to know

  • Places are limited, so please register to reserve your seat. If a colleague would like to come too, ask them to register separately.
  • This is an in-person session only, with no online option or recording, because it’s hands-on throughout.
  • Refreshments are provided, and there’ll be a break midway through.
